Review for The Burger Priest

We recently visited The Burger Priest, and I must say it was a major disappointment. We went in expecting a good, satisfying burger, but instead, we got a greasy mess that was almost inedible. I ordered a double bacon burger, and my partner had a single cheeseburger. And we both had a poutine.

First, the burger itself was ridiculously thin, burnt around the edge, and had no substance. It looked decent from the top, but the bottom bun was practically soaked through with grease, making it soggy and limp. By the time I picked it up, I was left with a greasy, dripping patty. The flavor? It’s hard to say because the overwhelming taste of oil was all I could focus on.

It was so bad that I considered returning it. But the woman came out and gave me a fresh bottom portion of the bun, and I settled for that because I didn’t want an argument. While the staff were polite enough during the return process, it didn’t make up for the fact that we left unsatisfied and disappointed. This is not the place if you’re looking for a quality burger. When you spend more than $40.00 for burger meals for two at a fast-food joint you would expect it to be somewhat edible and leave feeling satisfied.

We won’t be going back.
